How does dry ice cleaning work?
It is a powerful cleaning technique in which dry ice pellets are blown at high speed with compressed air against the surface to be cleaned.
The dry ice pellets are extremely cold. When they hit the dirt, they cause the contamination to come away from the surface. The dry ice then changes directly from solid to gas and sublimates completely.
As a result, no blasting media or water is left behind.
This makes the technique particularly suitable for cleaning engines, electrical components and classic vehicles.
The result of this method is a dry, damage-free metal surface that is clean down to the smallest seams, without leaving any residue or moisture. This provides a pure and original base: ready for an honest inspection and the best follow-up treatment for your classic.
